More examples of great advertorial content to get landlords to your agency

Smile .. its only one day until Friday and its rather sunny in Grantham!

Well, the course we ran last week went really well. I have now added a second video of Michael, a letting agent from Cambridgeshire, who also came on the 'infamous' how to get landlords course, with a 90 second interview, caught on camera, on what he learnt on the course.

Just to remind you, the course teaches you how to write great advertorials, like to one below. It shows you how to find landlords, how to get interesting info in front of them and then it shows to pull them in to you, so they will want to do business with you. .. and the best bit, its all been proved to work. Testimonials can be seen in my Linkedin profile in the Recommendations section.

Anyway, lets show you another advertorial. Let's start with the title, always a good local title. All thoughts etc are in italics

Harlow  property values increase by £93.26 per week

Last week, a landlord came in to our office to discuss the rising property values in Harlow . He owns a varied portfolio of rental properties, primarily in Harlow with a couple in Epping Forest and Chigwell , so it is interesting to compare the increase in property values around the area.

(OK, this paragraph sets the scene, it tells a story, draws the landlords in)

Over the last 12 months the average property value in Harlow has risen by nearly £4,750, from £159,800 to £164,650. This is a very reasonable 3% increase, which if you look at it on a weekly basis, average property values in Harlow, throughout 2013, have increased by an impressive £93.26 per week. When we looked at the values for detached houses in Harlow , this average increase is even greater at £7,100, a rise of £136.53 per week.

(Comparing and contrasting the three areas is something that landlords, even local property owners love .. them verses us)

When I looked at some of the surrounding towns, Chigwell  has had a lower average increase in property values, at around £86.88 per week, whilst Epping Forest has an even more modest average increase of around £64.75 per week. It is, nonetheless, a rise in average property values to suggest the market is recovering steadily in our area – good news for home owners and landlords alike.

When considering this landlord’s buy to let portfolio, the rental values have remained fairly stable during the 12 months.

(Again, continuing with the them vs us theme .. one letting agent who was on my first training course (on how to write advertorials to get landlords to use your lettings agency), the local newspaper have said if he can write an article like this most weeks, they will put it in for free .. how good is that!)

They are slowly recovering to the average of around 5 years ago, therefore it could be a good time to invest in the property market in Harlow. If you would like some advice about buying to let, be you a landlord with a portfolio or someone thinking of investing in rental market, please come and see me at our office on the High Street.

Nicely finished off with an invitation to come to the office. Remember, this stuff works. It triples rental market appraisals within 9 to 12 months. See what one letting agent said about them (this is cut and paste from my Linkedin Recommendations ....

"We run a well established lettings agency in North West. In the Spring of 2013, Christopher helped us to trial his advertorial newspaper articles to help us attract new business for our lettings agency. Writing the weekly articles proved really difficult at first but Christopher has an enormous wealth of ideas and inspiration and with his unstinting guidance, encouragement and support we learnt to become expert in his techniques. The advertorials grew our rental market appraisals from an average 4 a month to 14 a month and we now have a great number of potential landlords dropping in for advice. Even better, our turnover increased by 20%. There is no doubt that Christopher’s ideas, his support and guidance have provided a real boost to our business. His passion and enthusiasm are truly infectious and he has always been a real tonic to work with. It is an absolute pleasure to recommend Christopher"  Rosemary Millican - Letting Agent in Macclesfield

and another agent from Oxford, (Richard Goodwin) who has recently been on one of my training courses ..

"Christopher Watkin is not only a forward thinking Lettings genius but more importantly the proof is in the pudding. I was one of the first Martin and Co offices to get on board with Chris and his ideas. Already in the early stages of my learning I am seeing significant changes and there's plenty more to come.I can highly recommend Chris and I am looking forward to working with him for the foreseeable future. Call him. Your business depends on it! If you want to grow your lettings agency you need to speak to this man."
