Bridging The Gap Between Vendors and Estate Agents

The goal of every Estate Agent should be to build a bridge between the vendor & themselves. Yet too many Listers tell vendors about the architect of the bridge, the materials of the bridge, the amazing benefits of their bridge over other bridges, and finally, why the vendor should choose to walk across their bridge, instead of other bridges. Yet if the vendor cant step back and see the bridge for themselves… it doesn’t matter how good your bridge is .. they still won't get ’it’. Estate Agents who hand in their notice: When you consider a job outside your existing estate & letting agency company, it is a sign you are missing something. It could be the ££££, the feeling you are not valued or appreciated, doing two people's jobs for no extra pay, being overlooked for promotion, promises not fulfilled, or a mismatch of values. Whatever it is, there is a voice inside your head that says, 'What if?' So when another agent offers you a job, that voice becomes a chorus. When you break the news to your existing boss it can be a pick and mix bag of emotions of relief, guilt, fear, and excitement. Yet what if your existing boss comes back with a counter offer?
