Why are we still paying lettings staff commission?

The property will let anyway.
There’s no negotiation. No chain.
No chasing. No real sales process.

It’s supply and demand.
Not persuasion and performance.

Commission is meant to reward influence.

I can see why it works in resi sales - only 54% of listings end up exchanging

But if the result’s a given in lettings - what exactly are we rewarding with a commission?

What am I missing?
