The only people who that care you have just exchanged contracts on that house you posted on social media are

1. Your Vendor
2. Your Buyer
3. Your Ego
4. Your Bank Account

No, before you start jumping down my neck I’m saying that I’m anti-estate agents talking about their success, nothing could be further from the truth.

We should celebrate our successes but do it in a clever and smart way, a way that the general public, the hundreds and thousands of people that see your post actually care about your successes.

You see if you want people to care about you, you have to care about them first and you do that your posts need to reflect that.

Someone will only care if they are emotionally invested in you and your agency.

But if all you post is all your listings and all your exchanges, there’s nothing there that is emotionally attractive to your viewers.

He tells a story.

Humans ❤️ stories

And if you actually read the original post you’ll see that he doesn’t make himself the hero of the story, but the vendors and buyers the hero.

That’s the secret to getting people to care.
