The “Cheaper Estate Agent can do it for 0.5%” Seller
Situation: Seller says another agent is offering 0.5% and then drops in,
“You are all the same & anyway, you all use Rightmove anyway.”
Response:
Take out two screwdrivers.
One shiny and new, the other rusted and cheap.
Place them side by side.
Say:
“Same tool. Very differnet results depending on who’s holding it.”
Pause.
“If all it took was Rightmove, you wouldn’t need an estate agent, because you would ask Rightmove to sell your home
But you’re not hiring a portal. You’re hiring a negotiator.”
