Some very successful self-employed agents are starting to open an High Street office

Yet they have proved they didn’t need a High Street office to be successful enough to be able to afford one now.

So why now do some self employed agents believe it’s required now???

Think long and hard before you make that choice

Are you doing it because you need the validation?

You escaped the hamster wheel. You built something lean, local, personal. Now you have signed a 10 year lease and installed a receptionist.Don’t become what you left.

Please don’t pretend a High Street will makes you credible. You already are credible.

The vendor doesn’t care whether you’re above a chippy or an industrial unit or working from your kitchen table

They care whether you know your stuff and get results.

Location is secondary. Reputation is everything.

A shop front means nothing if you lose the hunger behind it.

Visibility matters. But vanity costs.

And be honest with yourself … some of the reason of the High Street office is your ego.

Nothing wrong with that - but don’t forget it!
