Everyone’s Jumping on the Panorama Bandwagon…

Yet will anyone still care next week?

BBC Panorama ran a hard hitting exposé on estate agents last night.

Today? LinkedIn’s flooded with posts from agents distancing themselves faster than you can say “not all agents are like that.”

Suddenly, everyone’s a reformer.

Everyone’s an ethics expert.

Everyone’s “different.”

But let’s not kid ourselves. By next week, most of this noise will be forgotten.

Back to ‘self employed estate agency’ will change your life posts without telling me what you will do as my sponsor when the 💩 hits the fan ( EDIT - see my reply in this thread where I expand on this)

Back to the willy waving Rightmove Pie charts,

20 week + sole agency agreements

You will go back to over valuing becuase your ego can’t stand you losing a listing ( and don’t tell me you don’t over value - I see your stats each week in the Stats Show)

And that post will mean absolutely nothing.

If we really want to raise standards in estate agency, the work starts when the cameras stop rolling.

Because it’s easy to jump on the bandwagon.

It’s harder to drive the bloody thing
