Empathise with homeowners and landlords Posting your listings or bragging about your awards or posting testimonials doesn’t fall into any of the four reasons- does it? Maybe that is why your posts aren’t working 🤔

STOP COLD CALLING

If door-knocking or cold-calling gives you the willies, hang in there Bro (or Sister) a little longer. The best Estate Agents who get shed loads of business from door-knocking or cold-calling I have interviewed or worked with have one thing in common . They hated door-knocking or cold-calling when they started... So don’t give up halfway through! Your fear of rejection will eventually go away.

One of the best bits of advice I can give you is, don't be embarrassed by your job in Estate Agency. Don't be ashamed. Don't be less valuable. Be proud You help people move from one chapter of their life to another. A new story, a new chapter. There can't be much better things in life, can there?

Working Out What Is Valuable Content

" How do I work out what is valuable content” , said the Estate Agent ☝🏼 Start with your target audience, local house sellers I am being serious. You as an Agent don’t get to determine what’s considered valuable content, the punters do So here are a few ways to find out what they deem valuable. 🔶Judging the Right Metrics Likes, shares, and comments don't equate to value. Posting cute dogs or your listings will get you likes and views - yet they won’t get you more listings 🔶 Build a Homeowner Persona Get to know your target homeowner. Don't have a persona yet? Ring me between 730am & 0815am any weekday morning and I will tell you 🔶 Ask Homeowners Again I am being serious. It's that easy. Just ask your target audience what they find valuable. So many agents assume they know what makes content valuable. Instead, find out from your target audience. Because, if they don't find your estate agency content valuable, they won't consume it.
